groups one or more aircraft type designators (e.g. an "EC135"
model covers EC135P1, P2, P3 …); attach an MMEL or MEL to the
model and any tail carrying one of its designators inherits
the document.

be enrolled in automatic notification, and a manual send is

Step 2 — Procedure Reinforcement
Configure additional procedural content the pilot or mechanic
must review during the deferral flow on the selected tail.
Any one or any combination of the three inputs below
triggers a forced "Step 2" between Review Original MEL and
Complete Maintenance Procedure. The user can't advance to
the next step until they've opened and closed Step 2.

Local Admins
Add up to three Local Administrators per operator. Local
Admins can grant or revoke the Manager role on this operator
and edit every per-operator setting. They cannot affect any
other operator. Each invitation is a one-time link that
expires after 7 days; new admins set their own password on
acceptance, while existing MEL IQ users sign in with their
current password and the operator is added to their access.
Only Global Administrators may issue Local Admin

A limit of three Local Admins (active + pending) per
operator applies. Remove an active admin or revoke a
pending invitation if you need a slot.
Users
Manage everyone who can log into MEL IQ for this operator.
Managers can edit the roster and assign every permission
except Manager itself — only an administrator may grant the
Manager role. Use the spreadsheet uploader to seed a large
roster, then refine permissions in the table below.

Promote an Existing User
The user must already have a MEL IQ account. To bring a
brand-new person on as Global Admin, invite them as a
Local Admin on any operator first, then promote here.
Document Management
Import operator documents, control which users can open each one,
and remove documents you no longer need. A document with no groups
and no individual users assigned is visible to everyone in the
operator. Assign a group (or specific users) to restrict it. Manage
groups and their members on the Users tab.

MEL Conditions
Some MEL items apply to only some of your aircraft —
for example, an item that only pertains to tails in a serial-number
range, or to aircraft with a particular STC or service bulletin
installed. Conditional applicability lets you limit
such an item to the specific tail numbers it applies to, so pilots on
other tails aren't shown an item that doesn't concern them.
Use Scan for Conditions on any MEL below to have the
AI find the line items whose wording suggests they're tail-specific,
then add a condition (you choose the tails). It's advisory — nothing
changes until you save a condition.

A complex procedure can't be reliably extracted to text (tables,
diagrams, multi-column layouts). Specify the page range in the
original PDF where this procedure appears so users can open it

Duplicates the saved text, document reference, and custom PDF
to the tails selected below. Existing settings on those tails
are overwritten. If a target tail doesn't have the same
document type (MEL/NEF/CDL) attached, the document reference
is skipped for that tail and only the text + PDF copy.
Log the new FAA MMEL revision. It stays Pending until you
click Mark Incorporated on the row.
Mark Procedure Complex — Custom Pages
Enter the beginning and ending PDF page numbers that contain this
procedure. Use the same number in both fields for a single-page

Restrict this MEL row to specific tail numbers based on
criteria like serial-number range, installed STCs, or
accomplished service bulletins. Conditions are evaluated as
a union — a tail matches if any condition row includes it.
